Champions Trophy Underway

The first qualifying match of the champions trophy got underway today with SL coming off victorious. Our guys played well, especially Tharanga betting extremely well. Nice to seem scoring big runs. He's got more centuries than fifties and also more away than at home.

His shot selection was superb. our bowling was a little waywarin the middle and didn't tighten up. Dilhara i think bowled really fast, the fastest i have ever seen him bowl. He bowled 93mph ball that nearly took Ashraful's head off. Anyways it was good start after months of no cricket.

on the other hand Euro 2008 qualifiers resume today. Italy take on Ukraine today. Hope they can pull this one of today. Donadoni is on alot of pressure already.

Lame Draws

Hi there... Wasn't able to blog recently due to some error on the bloging tool on firefox.

Anyways Milan have come down badly with 3 draws in a row.. Hope they can find their shooting boots soon.. It like a dry spell of goals!

Another Fine Win

Milan Win Again! Well Another win for milan and tis now 4 in a row since the start of the season. And finally they've moved out of the negatives to positive points. Still a long way to the Scudetto.

Milan on a role since the start of the season with their third win in a row!!

Great Goal from Seedorf.. Been a long time since he scored a goal for Milan. Good to see him contribute even though he hasn't featured recently in the team.

The Champions league match went pretty well against AEK with new boy Groucruff(i think thats how u spell his name) scored. He's been touted as the next Zidane. Well the god thing they've got some good yuong talen this season.

Anyways here the Milan-Parma game. Appreciate Seedorf's Goal.. Its a Classic!!

Bad Loss

Well as you might have heard by now Italy have lost their second match in qualifyint France..

3-1 was the final scoreline favouring France.. All the French goals were caused by some poor marking and bad goalkeeping by Buffon. Didn't expect that from him..

"Crocodile Hunter" has passed away in tragic circumstances.

Steve Irwin had reportadly been stung by sting ray while filming a documentary.

Damm shame to one of the most entertaining people on the Planet.

Long Hard Weekend

Hey All,

Been a very long and Weekend, Wored on Saturday casue we were tirelessly testing our new system which will be up and running in a couple of weeks. Kinda feel so tired on Sunady as well.

Got an aching headache..

On the football front, Italy drew against Lithunania.. They dominated the match but couldn't get any rythm going.. Hopefully they catch up for the France Match.

Will be one heck of a rematch.. Its in Paris aswell..

Season About to Start

Well the premier League has just started

Liverpool into a not so good start. It seems Real have snatched up Diara.. They are really building up thier squad.. Their planning on more signings and with Capello with them, they'll be a force to reckon with.

Even Inter have a good chance on silverware this season. They've got Zlatan And Viera.

AC haven't done much on the transfer market. Wonder how they're gonna cipe with thier ageing defence.

Its Been a Really long time!!

Damm.. its been a really long time since i last posted..

The football Seasons finally gonna start.. not much of transfer activity except for the huge sale at Juventus!!

Cricket's going well Sri lanka doing well although they gotta a real fight on thier hands for the second test!!

The month of July was really great especially on the 9th.. Finally Italy lifting the World Cup!! I though day would never come up!!

Long Time

Wow its been some times since i last blogged!!

lots really happened, AC Milan knocked out of the CL. Will be Barca v.s. Arsenal in the final! Should be good though!!

Besides that theirs been a bomb blast in SL and security has tightened every where. Don't know what's gonna happen next. Will have to wait and see.

Exams coming up in 3 weeks time, and i'm damm scared.. Work is really tough and normaly come home quite late than usaual so too tired to even bother studying.

Hopefully can pull something off during the exams..

Long Weekend

Well the long weekend just started 2 days ago, so i'm stuck at home doing nothing but studying...

England finally won a one dayer, are they mastering 'contrast swing', another new weapon for the quickies. Hope Vaas will master it!! Well the Aussie's were up agianst it against Bangladesh, it seems they have dug deep and won this one out of the blue! Was looking forward to an upset!!


Heard Ballack might be going to Chelsea, another one to the blues!! Man they always get what they want!
Hopefully Milan will strenthen their defence in the Summer!!

Back after some Weeks

Hi there so i'm back after some weeks..

lots happened. Sri lanka have screwed up the test and one day series to pakistan while having the upperhand in the tests!!

Ac Milan have gone through to the next around of CL and awaitng them is Barca. Damm.. they should meet Barca in the final... its gonna be a hell of a game!!

Meanwhile my job is going good.. had lots of work last week cause of the upcoming sinhala new year. Working quite late, but at leat getting O/T!!

Been awhile

Well its been 10 days since i last posted!! Was sick all week and had no time to even switch on the pc, also was pre occupied with work!!

Speaking of Work I'm offically working for the world's local bank!! Yep HSBC!!

Well these Yahoo widgets are kinda cool!! So now i'm trying my hand on trying to make my own!!

Well The place i applied to called me asked me to bring all my certificates tomorrow. I think i'm hired but not sure couldn't really here them cause was with a customer at work when they called.

I also can't seem to find my birth certificate which they need!!

Anyways my computer has been hijacked by some spyware that i can't seem to get rids of!! Tried everything from Spyware Doctor at Ad- Adware. Still No luck. Some page called Globe 7 keeps opening up along with some pop ups!! really annoying!!

anyways thats it for 2day!!

What a Weekend

Well what a weekend it has been!!

First of all the aus - sa match was breathtaking. 800 odd runs in one match!!! 434 by aus and 438 by sa. Feel kinda sorry for the Aussie's only holding a record for 3 1/2 hours.

On the other hand Murali must be smiling, he does not hold the record for the expensive figures anymore!! Praise Mick Lewis!! 113 in 10 Overs, kinda makes you wonder why the kept bowling him!!

Well i finally went for the exam for the place i'm applying for. It went well, hopefully i'll get it. They said they would inform by next week. My anxiety is arising again, gotta have faith!!

Milan just blew their chance for the Serie A Title by drawing agianst Juve. Well the champion's league is thier only hope but with lyon up next and possible match up against Barca chances look slim with an ageing defence. The only hope is the midfield and attack!!

So couldn't blog yesterday cause had to go early. Sri lanka finally rapped up the test series, tharanga played well and murali's finally got 600.

The champion's league quarter final draw was held. looks like Milan will have to face a very hyper-active Lyon, will be tough! Juve have come upa aginst Aresnal, should be interesting, can Henry put up another giant killing performance!!

Will have to wit and See.

Well Milan utterly thrashed Bayern last night!!
What about about Pipo Inzaghi, really good performance, Lippi this guy has to be in the World Cup!!

Besides that Tharanga's got a century for SL. Hope he doesn't get dropped after this, guy's got some good potential.

Anyways finally got the call for the exam for the post i applied. Its gonna be on Mon. Hope everything goes well!!

Champion's League Night

Well the 2nd test has begun, murali's created another record for himself. 50 five wicket hauls. Damm.. he just keeps on getting records.

Well his wicket tally is 598 now, watchout Warne the smiling assaasin is coming back!!











Besides that Barca have finally knocked out Chelsea!! And now we can hear Mourinho complain or give some lame excuse about how Chelsea could have won if Del Horno wasn't sent off in the first leg!! Ronaldhino put in another great effort!

Juventus have also made it through, thanks to Emerson, them Brazilians are everywhere!!

Anyway Milan taking on Bayern tonight, so Forza Milan!!

So the sun rises on a brand new day!

The world spins around as usual and the weather the same as usual, Hot!

Just went for an interview and awaiting for the next call for the test, hope they call soon cause the anxiety of awaiting could kill me!! It did seem to go pretty well though!!

Today's Champion's League night again, hope Barca can finally kick Chelsea out, Milan are playing tomorrow.

2nd test between SL & Bangladesh tomorrow as well. Hopefully we could put a huge total tomorrow. Murali should get a lot of wickets aswell, needs to catch up with Warne!
